My mother once said "there's enough money out there
for everyone no need for greed." I call her Mrs. Claus because she's always helping people
even if it's her last dollar in her pocket. Thankfully I got some good
characteristics from her, but I notice that many women lack in uplifting each
other. Instead women are too busy competing with each other. I
believe this is very unfortunate, but when I come across great women such as my
mother it makes me happy. I guess this is why I am a hairstylist to make
women feel and look good.
Well this past weekend I took a 2-day technique to trend
haircutting class at the Ted Gibson Academy in Ft Lauderdale. This was such a
great experience with many talented women from Chicago, Wisconsin, Atlanta, and
Toronto. Our instructor’s name was Linzee Katzman. As I stepped foot in the
class Linzee was warm and welcoming just as the environment of the luxurious
Florida salon. This class was very intense yet rewarding. I gained so much
knowledge and different ways of implementing techniques that I couldn’t wait to
share them with you all.
I am thankful that Linzee allowed me to take some knowledge from
her brain and share it with the world. This industry is full of people
who believe "if it's not about me or adding money to my pocket
whatever" We could clearly see that Linzee is very passionate about the
beauty industry, and gains a great deal of satisfaction from helping
others. Linzee is extremely knowledgeable,
caring, informative, and kind. I love how willing she was to let me know what I
was doing wrong and how I could make it right like as if she was a friend I've
known forever. Thank you Linzee for your honesty and guidance. Now who is ready
for a haircut?
