ENTREPRENEURS

Most 22 year olds don’t understand what it means to save, because they feel like they should be enjoying their life.  Enjoying my life doesn’t consist of me partying and going out every week.  My life as a 22 year old is building a foundation for myself so that I can do as I please later on in life.  So many people are like Misa come on lets go out, but I rather not spend my money on alcohol or etc. (it’s a waste of money to me).  There’s nothing wrong with treating yourself, but when you have different groups of friends asking you to spend on different occasions it becomes costly.  I am working hard now so I can live comfortable later.  It was a relief to speak with a group of Women who understand how your money has to be spent wisely as an entrepreneur.  BELIEVE IT OR NOT ENTREPRENEURS WORK HARDER THAN 9-5 PEOPLE.  You may see us plan our days how we feel, but trust me if we have lazy days we eventually have to make up for it. These lovely ladies and I met for brunch at peaches In Brooklyn.  Not only were they inspiring, but it was a sigh of relief to speak with people who could understand that we have to be mindful of how we spend our money especially in the fields that we are in.  Flor Branham is a photographer/owner of Branham Perceptions Photography.  A florist name Makini Regal from Makini Regal designs, and Marisa Flores who is a Wedding planner.  Not only were these ladies fabulous individuals we were able to share some of the same experiences. For example, in our industry we as Entrepreneurs are looked upon as unprofessional because of the acts of others.  We are striving to get the same respect as those who have well know businesses.  So it was nice to see women seeking to do what they love, sacrificing their wants to be able to provide for their future, and just not feeding into the stereo types and proving people wrong.  I JUST LOVE INSPIRATIONAL WOMEN!!!!!
