I hope everyone can see my niece Sophea’s curl pattern. I think that it’s between a loose curl and
tight curl. Her hair is much thicker in
the lower back of her head, but the rest is softer and a much looser curl. Most of us have different textures throughout
our hair from our ancestry. If you would
like to know what her nationality is she’s Jamaican, Italian, and Portuguese.
Anywho…. I went to my favorite place, which is the beauty supply store. I
decided to pick up a nice detangler for her beautiful curls by the name of kids
tangle tamer by mixed chicks. They have
the product in a cream base as well. As
you all may know curly hair can have a lot of tangles. So after I washed Sophea’s hair I towel blot
her hair and then sprayed the product all throughout her hair, and combed
through for an even distribution. I must
say that I was satisfied with the product, because it actually did what it
says. As you may know there are products
on the market that say they do a certain thing for your hair, but it doesn’t
its called marketing. So don’t believe
everything that is on the market.
However, Sophea has dry scalp so I will be picking up some coconut oil
to rub on certain areas of the scalp and to use as a serum (not too much just a
dime size). Also, keep in mind the
coconut oil can be used as a detangler as well.
If you haven’t read my previous post you can read more on other
moisturizers. Keep in mind curly hair
needs MOISTURE MOISTURE MOISTURE!!! I
hope this helps you with your precious babies. <3
