What made you become a naturalista?

WE DID OUR REGULAR HAIRCUTS, BUT WE DIDN'T DECIDE TO CHOP THE REST OFF UNTIL A YEAR AND A HALF LATER!!!
"I was trying to go natural before I met you , but your the one that convince me to stick through it. I always try to go natural, but always end up perming my hair, because the dominicans did not know how to take care of it.  It would be frustrating, and my hair was falling out, but you were able to help me to maintain it, and you made me see the beauty in my hair.  I learned a lot about my hair. Its not an easy process to go natural. You gave me the support to do it, emotionally and phyically by doing my hair. You refused to perm my hair, and I refuse to go to someone else lol." -Latoya Chin

  1. Ms. Chin's hair looks beautiful! Of course, we are entitled to exercise all of our beauty options, but I so love natural hair. Before I went with dreads, Ms. Marteen Rose, Misa's mom, convinced me to do thatby the way, I would give up on staying natural. But natural hair can be so very beautiful. I wish more young women would try it, at least for some period of time in order to rest their hair from chemicals and harsh treatment. Great work, Ms. Misa!

  2. Thank you Ardee! I agree our hair always needs a rest from the harsh chemicals especially when our hair isn't being treated properly. That's cool that you are one of my Moms client's, I am not sure if we have met, but if not then we will. :-)

I appreciate your feedback and look forward to hearing from you in the near future. <3
