Oils
Jojoba oil- is great
oil for damaged hair providing it with moisture while balancing out your
natural sebum. As a result, this oil can
remove the debris (build up) from your scalp with maintaining your natural
sebum with out clogging your pores with build up. As you may know build up causes bacteria,
which prevents your hair from growth. It adds shine to your hair; strengthen the
shaft of your hair, and helps with dry scalp.
Rosemary- is great oil used
for preventing hair loss and adding shine to your hair shaft.
Castor oil- can be used for
moisture and also to help thinning areas adding thickness to your hair.
Coconut oil- helps with
detangling, preventing dandruff, and adding moisture to the hair.
Pure oils can be used as a
hot oil treatment prior to shampooing your hair with a thorough rinse. You may choose to use it as a conditioner or
with a concoction you have made it’s up to you. :-)
LEAVE IN TREATMENTS
Leave in treatments are
something I always recommend before applying heat to your hair.
Knot today by kinky curly is
a great product for detangling and making your styling process more easier. J
CONDITIONING TREATMENTS
Morrocanoil Line is such a
great line, but can be very expensive! Here are a few products that I like.
Restorative hair mask: helps
give life back into the hair by penetrating the hair with protein and argan
oil. If your hair is weak and or damaged
this will help reconstruct the shaft of your hair.
Intense hydration mask- is a
great product for thicker textures of hair adding in moisture, and making your
hair more manageable and improving the elasticity of your hair
Moroccanoil treatment- can be
used as a finishing tool to add shine or as a hot oil treatment.
I used this product prior to blow drying and
or flat ironing. It isn’t heavy and can
be used on all types of hair, which is why I love it.
MILKSHAKE PRODUCTS
A friend did my hair with
these products, and I loved the way it made my hair feel.
Milkshake Argan Oil Deep
Treatment: helps nourish and adds moisture to the hair leaving your hair soft
and smooth to touch
So here you guys are this
isn’t all that I use, but just wanted to share some products for you to choose
from. There are many great products to
choose from you just have to see what works best for you. Also, most of the products I share can be
used on all types of hair. I don’t like
to use products for only one type of hair.
Just keep in mind multicultural hair needs more hydration than fine and
limp hair, so be mindful of the amount you are using according to each hair
texture.
